# Glyph Engine > Glyph Engine is a small Mac and iPad app that helps Apple-platform developers and designers find existing SF Symbols and emoji from text, sketches, or reference images, then generate polished custom SF-symbol-style SVGs when the right symbol does not exist. Find what exists. Generate what does not. Glyph Engine ships as two native apps on the App Store — one for macOS and one for iPadOS, each built for its platform (not Mac Catalyst). Search models run on device for SF Symbol and emoji matching after the user chooses the one-time local matching model download. Custom SVG generation is separate: inputs are sent to QuiverAI, every install starts with three free generations, and additional credits are sold as one-time SVG Pack in-app purchases (no subscription, no account). The app is maintained by Nick Arner. The website is a small static site with five pages: home, features, system requirements, support, and privacy. ## Product - [Home](https://glyphengine.app/index): Overview of local matching, the find-first workflow, and custom SF-symbol-style SVG generation, with a demo video. - [Features](https://glyphengine.app/features): Detailed breakdown of sketch-to-symbol matching, image and text search, emoji lookup, custom SF-symbol-style generation, generation history, and the three SVG Packs (Starter, Creator, Studio). - [System requirements](https://glyphengine.app/system-requirements): Supported platforms (macOS 15+ on Apple Silicon, iPadOS 18+), disk space, network use, and shared specs. ## Support - [Help & FAQ](https://glyphengine.app/support): Common issues, FAQ on offline use, custom symbols, iPhone support, and refunds. - [Privacy policy](https://glyphengine.app/privacy): What stays on device, the two outbound network cases (model download, QuiverAI), and third-party services. - [Support](mailto:support@glyphengine.app): Email for bug reports, feature requests, and billing questions. - [Contact](mailto:hello@glyphengine.app): General inquiries. ## Optional - [Nick Arner on X](https://x.com/nickarner): The maker.
